Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara
A Native Expeditions representative will collect you from your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to Wilson Airport.
Fly to an airstrip serving the Maasai Mara, where your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to your lodge.
After lunch and relaxation, enjoy an afternoon game drive followed by dinner at the lodge.
Overnight: Maasai Mara
Day 2: Maasai Mara Safari
Begin the day with an early game drive in search of lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing together. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive and a possible sundowner experience.
An optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari followed by breakfast can be arranged at an additional cost.
Overnight: Maasai Mara
Day 3: Fly to Lamu via Nairobi
Enjoy a final morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi, where you will connect with a flight to Manda Airport in Lamu.
On arrival, transfer by boat to your selected beach resort and spend the evening relaxing beside the Indian Ocean.

Day 4: Lamu Beach and Island Experience
Enjoy a relaxed day at your beach resort.
Depending on your interests, choose from optional activities such as swimming, kayaking, spa treatments, a guided village walk or simply spending time together by the beach.
A private dinner or sunset experience can also be arranged.

Day 5: Lamu Culture and Dhow Cruise
Explore Lamu’s distinctive Swahili heritage through a guided visit to Lamu Old Town or nearby communities.
Discover narrow streets, traditional architecture, local crafts and coastal cuisine. Later, enjoy an optional sunset dhow cruise before returning to your resort.

Day 6: Fly to Nairobi and Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast before transferring by boat to Manda Airport.
Fly to Wilson Airport in Nairobi, where a Native Expeditions representative will transfer you to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Additional accommodation can be arranged if required by your international flight schedule.

The itinerary requires flights between Nairobi, the Maasai Mara and Lamu. Confirm flight costs, luggage restrictions and transfers when requesting your quotation
Can we see the Great Migration?
Large herds may be present in the Maasai Mara during the migration season. Their timing and location depend on rainfall, grazing and river conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
Can this honeymoon be extended?
Yes. Additional nights can be added in the Maasai Mara, Lamu or Nairobi. A longer stay is recommended for couples who prefer a slower pace.
